What is Egg Donor?
An egg donor is a woman who donates her healthy eggs to help someone else conceive a child. Before donating, she undergoes a thorough screening process that includes blood tests and an ultrasound to ensure the quality of her eggs. Egg donor is often an option for individuals who have low egg quality or are of advanced maternal age and are unable to produce healthy eggs on their own.
Egg Donor Process
We provide a database of our egg donors for you to choose from. Once you have selected a donor, she will undergo initial testing, including Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) testing, blood tests, and an ultrasound. After that, ovarian stimulation will begin to prepare the donor for egg retrieval. Once healthy eggs are successfully retrieved, fertilization takes place. The resulting embryos are monitored until they reach the blastocyst stage, at which point they can be transferred to the intended mother’s womb.
